Location, the suite is excellent. Views are incredible.

Restaurant staff are not very attentive.

Excellent location & cleanliness of rooms are fantastic. They even pre-packed breakfast for when we left early in morning to climb mountain

The hotel is located behind another hotel with splendid sceneries. Breakfast was excellent. You can preorder some mains which were very delicious. There is a shortcut to Dalai Lama temple; just few minutes. But it's quite steep and not for everyone. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Once you ha e found the hotel, (it is hidden and poorly sign posted) it is actually in a good location.

If paying by non-Indian bank card, they insist you pay in your home currency, at their exchange rate, which they admitted was more expensive than paying in INR by at least 6% - or you can pay cash, which means multiple trips to a cash machine. Effectively if a foreign card you have to pay an additional 6-10% for your stay. The bed and pillows were also the hardest we experienced in our month long trip...

Fantastic stay! The location is breathtaking, the scenery, and the staff cannot do enough to help you and to give you the best possible stay. Mrs Tsering in particular went above and beyond on multiple occasions to support especially when we found out our flights were cancelled and we needed a last minute stay. Would love to come back to see more of Dharamshala and when I do I will be hands down staying here!

Nothing, cannot fault the place

The hotel is in a very good location. The way to the markets is very short, as is the way to the Temple of the Dalai Lama. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful - Tsering also did her very best as well as all the staff to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Feel free to help with any questions. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were very good.

The hotel provides exceptional level of service. The room was well equipped and the level of mainatenance is fantastic, things are confortable and just work. I had a room with a balcony, and the view was exciting. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. They helped me to book a taxi to and from airport. The breakfast was tasty. The laundry service ordered was effiicent. Easy to get to the very center of McLeod, to the Temple and to the ropeway station from there. I liked my stay a lot.

The only thing is with the payment: the hotel didn't charge me via credit card in local currency (INR), but instead converted the charge into my local currncy - I lost 4-5% in this conversion. Perhaps the payment technology is not great, but in ropeway station in McLeod there was no issue with charging directly in INR.
