Guests can enjoy use of the spa and fitness facilities at the Choices Health Club, which is 2 miles from the property. There are complimentary passes for the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, solarium and gym. Thornbank will keep your card details in case of any damage or policy breaches. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the guarantee card up to the full amount of the booking. The total room occupancy includes all children and infants. Room occupancy cannot be exceeded. The free gym and spa is subject to availability, located 10 minutes drive from the property.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. My friends and i had a lovely stay here for a weekend. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Excellent shower. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, check in instructions were clear and easy. We didn't have breakfast this time as we had to check out early. The location was excellent, in the middle of Windermere and Bowness. Would stay again!

A nice touch would be a small table in the bathroom for extra toiletries.

Warm welcome from Jane and Mark on our arrival..room was excellent and very clean as was the bathroom. Tea coffee in the room with kettle and cups Breakfast was superb on both mornings .Jane and Mark where excellent hosts Couldn't rate this place high enough..Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to family and friends

Perfectly central for both Windermere and Bowness, easy to park which is always a bonus. Lovely large room and very comfortable bed. Lovely little home made flapjack from the hosts, little touches that we appreciate! Thank you.
