Beautiful townhouse next to Royal Victoria Park and botanical gardens within easy walking distance to Bath City Centre

The location was great, just close enough to walk to the centre of Bath but far enough out of the centre to experience some local cafes and pubs, plus Victoria Park.

The house had not been cleaned when we arrived. We had to wait 2 1/2 hours. The owner was apologetic but did not offer any compensation. The house had steep stairs to the 1st and 2nd floor which needs to be clear in the listing as some people would find it hard, especially with suitcases. The bathroom was on the 1st floor, so 2nd floor guests needed to come down steep stairs in the night. This needs to be very clear on the listing. It's an old house so understandable, just not for everyone. The quality of the sheets and towels was poor. The carpet felt worn and dirty. The courtyard garden was not somewhere you would want to sit. We were disappointed in the property overall. There is only two hour parking in front between 8am-6pm, if you can get a space, so you need to move the car to a pay car park.

Great location next to Victoria Park and playground. Short walk to center of town, and location of groceries was good. Large enough to spread out a bit, nice that there were two separate bedrooms.

Home inundated with incense/diffusers. We put them all in a cabinet to tamper the smell. As soon as the smell wore off, the air smelled like vape/smoke. Headache for sure. No laundry soap or dishwash tabs provided as listed in guest book. Dryer was full of sheets/towels from previous occupancy. Patio door locked, and patio full of trash bags. Housekeeper knocked on door on our second night at 8pm to come take out the trash. Odd, and not a pleasant surprise.

Location 15/20 min walk to city centre. Bus from Bristol Airport stop is a 3 min walk from the house. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. 2 double beds, 1 single bed, 1 sofa cama. Board games and books avaliable. Plenty of towels. Big room. Sky TV available. Wifi

The matress in the first floor room needs urgent change.

Location was fab.

The beds were uncomfortable for all.

Decor, kitchen facilities, comfy beds, equipment, warm bathroom, location, nearby pub and bus stop, convenient Tesco Express.

No major issues but a chair or small table in the bathroom would be good to put clothes or toiletry kits on. A handrail at the end or mid wall of the bath would be helpful for older people who may feel unsteady. A note about how to use the TV (i.e standard settings and what is available to watch) would be good since we had great trouble. After contacting the host we found a previous guest had added Amazon to it. It did eventually work late on our second night.

Everything was lovely and nice. Very clean. It's the old building but very cosy. Very comfy bed. Air fryer in the house helped with cooking. Beds really comfortable.

WiFi was poor and quite late check in time. 3 pm
