GBGBIt was a really pleasant surprise to find that the house has recently been redecorated - SO much nicer than before! We loved everything about the house, and all the thoughtful little extras like extra blankets, books and games for the kids, even the kitchen is so well equipped with things like spices etc that weren’t expected. The WiFi is nice and fast, but because it’s just a quick walk to central Bath we hardly had to use it - but we will be back for a longer break though and will be working remotely so it’s good to know the wifi is reliable. The bedding has also been upgraded since the last time we were here, I’m not sure but I’d guess it must be at least 800 thread count sheets. The bistro sets in the courtyard are a nice touch, convenient to sit with a nice glass of wine after a day exploring Bath. A fabulous place all around and we can’t wait to come back.
Sometimes couldn’t get parking right outside, but the furthest we had to park was a few houses down. Be careful - Bath council are very strict, but our host left a useful map showing exactly were to park with the permit they bought for us. (Much appreciated!)
USThe location right next to Victoria park playground was excellent - the kids loved the zipline at the park and the parents loved the little pub across the street. The apartment had plenty of space and the kids loved having their own room and own beds. Also there were little details like spices and olive oil in the kitchen and soap and shampoo that most flats don’t have that made things easier. There were also games for the kids and a lovely living room.
I’m not picking, but there’s a washer but no dryer which made it very hard to properly do laundry as it didn’t dry in a day and we needed to be creative using chairs as dry racks. Also, be forewarned if you’re tall (I’m 190cm / 6’2.5”) you’ll bump your head as there 10 doorways or ceiling beams that will get you if you’re not careful. Once again this is a small nit; I’d absolutely stay here again!
GBBeautiful house with everything we needed. The little extras were a pleasant surprise and hugely appreciated! Comfortable beds, extra pillows and blankets, even games for kids and adults in case of rain - they seem to have thought of everything.
