The host and his family are very friendly. The room was spacious and at a great price. Location is fantastic

The cock that someone else has mentioned also kept me awake of the nights. It started his morning cries at 3.30 am and went on every 5min... The room didn't really have windows.

"The kindest owner who helps with anything!"

The owner is the kindest person! He hand scrubbed some items from our laundry first so everything came out completely clean. He doesn’t speak English but google translate is my bestfriend here and i think it’s absolutely fine to use! He gave us chocolate just to be nice, carried our bags, and of course the very clean laundry. We also booked the Ha Long Bay day tour through him at his set price, it was easier and quicker for us and we then see that it was quite abit cheaper than the local tour shops! Soap and a warm shower with standard beds, for budget travelling it’s all you need!

The bedroom we had didn’t have a window so it did feel and smelly slightly clammy and moist. But there was a nice shared balcony outside the rooms! The very cheap price and the lovely host make up for anything.
