Great value for money and extremely helpful staff. They can arrange for day trips, transport (even back to Hanoi) and motorbike rental (100k/day)

The family running the hostel were super lovely and helped us out with everything we needed. The guy who runs the place doesn’t speak English but was super sweet and communicated very well using Google translate. Overall loved my stay there the facilities were great and nice and clean

Had to get on a chair in the corridor to switch the water heater on for a shower

This hostel/hotel is in a great location for cat ba town. It’s on a quiet side street but 5 mins away from the main roads with all the restaurants and bars. The staff were super helpful and friendly and gave us everything we needed although they don’t speak English. It was very cheap. It had air con and the beds were comfy. There was always someone downstairs to help with check in and anything else.

It’s a very basic hostel with a private wet room. Don’t expect anything fancy. It could’ve been a bit cleaner.
