Green View Resort

The owners are young guys and girls who were very polite and tried to help with everything.

You can only stay in this place for 1 night. Breakfast and dinner will be prepared for you in the shared kitchen at a price that for some reason will be more expensive than in the restaurant across the street. The hostel itself was still under renovation, when we checked in the entrance to it was filled with concrete, so we had to climb over the fence to get out/into the room. We were put in a room that is unlikely to be rented out. I am attaching a photo. In general, think for yourself: the rooms correspond to the low price, and the staff is really friendly, although they try to increase the prices for additional services.

Very friendly staff, beautiful location and amazing that there is a shared kitchen. I totally recommend this place to real travelers.

Room was available here on booking but after confirmation the owner wrote a message telling me to cancel the booking as there were no room. Without apology. We had to sort out something else late in the evening after arriving from a long train ride

The location and the room were amazing. Sunrise view from the rooftop with a spectacular sunset view just a short walk over to the other side. Nimantha was very helpful with my sightseeing arrangements and made sure that my stay was comfortable. Definitely recommend this place.

most noisy room I had in my three weeks trip in sri lanka because the room was located next to the busy (tuck tuck) road, traffic noise till midnight

We had a great time in New green view. The place is perfectly located outside the city in the middle of the jungle. The view is amazing. Nimantha and his sister are great hosts. The breakfast is rich and delicious. Nimantha is also a great guide and can arrange lovely tuktuk tours at super reasonable prices. They have been very helpful during our stay, and always smiling. We recommend staying there if you go to Ella!

This establishment is located in the jungle, a very beautiful view to enjoy from your room (outside the busy Ella, which is a pro). The best thing about this place is the staff, of such a welcoming and thoughtful character! Top notch service! The breakfast is also really big and tasty 😋 would definitely recommend!
