Green View Resort

Lahiru was a very helpful and accommodating host. He came to pick us up from the Ella train station. Location is quiet and peaceful.

Big room and comfortable

It was nice place.

There was a great restaurant next door which i would highly recommend. The hosts were good at communicating on whatsapp. You can walk to the train station in 30 mins. There is a beautiful view.

There appeared to be mould on the roof in my room. There was no drain in the shower, it seemed to just leak through the tiles eventually. There was no restaurant as advertised.

It's a nice place to stay, I stayed for a night with family and had a great time and we got the east facing room and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay which is close to nature and morning 🌄 sunrise / golden hour is really good and rooms are nice with simple and clean. This is maintained by a sister and brother and doth were helpful and friendly. We have seen lots of monkeys during our stay

Nothing

We were highly impressed at what Nimintha and his sister have created at New Green View. Go for the view (it is wonderful) ; go for the location (the peaceful out-of-town location and short path to the railway tracks are worthwhile) ; and go for the enthusiastic hospitality (it is certainly that). But mostly go to celebrate and support the achievements of Nimintha and his sister, two impressive young entrepreneurs, who have created New Green View in spite of significant challenges they had to overcome.
