Property in ideal location 2mins to beach and restaurants

De locatie is echt top: het strand ligt op maar één minuut lopen. Daarnaast zit je dicht bij de taverna’s, de supermarkt en recht tegenover een koffie- en juicebarretje. Het appartement zelf is ruim en comfortabel. Ik zou hier zeker vaker terug komen!

Een airco in de slaapkamer zou het verblijf nóg aangenamer maken. Er is nu een ventilator, maar dat geeft niet altijd voldoende verkoeling.

De locatie was zeer goed gelegen. In bed hoorde je de zee. Tegenover het appartement kon je ontbijt halen of ter plekke eten. Alles vers bereid bij Fresh and Cool, maar ook aan zee kon je heerlijk zitten en ontbijten, lunchen of dineren. Ook fijn dat er een tuintje en terras bij appartement was.

Jammer dat we de eigenaar niet live gezien hebben, maar contact verliep snel en soepel. 1 set handdoeken voor 1 week was wel weinig en appartement was wat gehorig mbt de buren.

Would have been nice to have a washing machine and an iron but for a weeks stay it was perfect.

Situation géographique top , proche de plage , de commerces, de café , accessible, hôte à l’écoute, le personnel est joignable est serviable. Appartement très pratique pour une semaine

Manque beaucoup d’équipement pour la cuisine,le canapé au salon n’est pas confortable, et sale , odeur de pipi , on a tout essayé pour nettoyer ça marche pas . La porte extérieure ne fermait pas correctement, on devait claquer fort chaque fois. Pas de climatisation dans les chambres. Juste dans le salon, on devait laisser les portes de chambres ouvertes tout le temps, des fois ce n’est pas évident avec des ados. Frigo trop petit , juste assez pour mettre un peu de boissons, c’est dommage C’est pratique pour une semaine, pas pour une famille de 5 personnes et pour 3 semaines.

Siisti. Tilava huoneisto (40 m2), erillinen makuuhuone, hyvä äänieristys verrattuna moniin muihin apartementoksiin. Kivat kalustetut parvekkeet,erinomaiset näköalat merelle,hyvä keittiövarustelu (plussaa siitä, että oli myös kätevä uuni). Kirjoja eri kielillä lainattavissa, myös suomen-kielisiä. Ilmastointi oli hyvä, se ei sijainnut makuuhuoneessa häiritsevästi suhisemassa, vaan oli sijoitettu eteiseen, josta ilmanvaihto levisi hyvin muihin huoneisiin. Synka-supermarket muutaman sadan metrin päässä, jossa hyvät valikoimat. Merenranta ja Kalyvesin keskusta kävelymatkan päässä, jossa hyviä tavernoita ja ravintoloita. Tie on vieressä, mutta liikenne ei haitannut nukkumista, ovet ja ikkunat eristivät ääntä. Superystävällistä ja auttavainen henkilökunta, jotka saavat sinut tuntemaan itsesi tervetulleeksi ja viihtymään. Varasimme jo seuraavan majoituksen täältä syksyksi.

Sänky on liian kapea ja varavuoteena käytettävä sohva liian kova.

This was a great find. Perfect location v close to the beach, shops and restaurants and a convenient car park across the road if you're hiring a car. On a fairly busy road but we weren't bothered at all by traffic noise. WiFi was reliable, and air con an added bonus although we didn't need it much as the building is cool. We rented the 1 bedroom apartment. It was beautifully clean and well renovated. Everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy couch, lots of wardrobe space and great to have access to smart tv. There isn't actually a balcony ( possibly a translation issue in the description) but there is a lovely terrace for dining outside and sunbeds provided. There is also a bbq and handy clothes horse. It was excellent value and communication was great with the host right from the start. We loved Kalyves itself too, all walkable but everything you need. Not a party spot but plenty of tavernas and bars and live music was just starting to be a regular thing when we left at the end of May. Beautiful beach with free sunbeds if you buy things from the beach bars. Easy to get a bus to Chania, but we rented a car for some days too ( good experience and prices with Kalives rent a car). V friendly people; not just a generic tourist spot 😍 Our recommendations after 2 wks of eating out are Stella's Tapas in the square, Mythos, Il Fourno and Kohili. ( Don't forget to bring some leftovers back for the v affectionate ginger cat that hangs out in the garden! 😀)

Very little! Would be good to have a few cleaning things and a brush for people staying more than a few days. And, as we were there for 2 weeks, a change of towels and sheets provided in the apartments would be good. Although these were quickly delivered when I messaged the host. The garden is due a tidy up ( not that this affected our stay at all, I only mention it to help you maintain the high standard. Thank you 😀
