Lovely staff. Very helpful. Very pretty boutique type hotel with Spanish feel in the artwork etc. great sitting area on the top floor.

Lighting in the rooms is very dim so reading was difficult, almost impossible.

Slow wifi, low water pressure, no water at night

Everything. Breakfast is very good and lasts until lunch even when doing activities, but it takes 15 minutes after ordering it, and it's in a separate restaurant, so keep it in mind if you're very tight on time. The bed is comfortable, the host is very friendly, the AC unit is new and you can control both temperature and humidity. It's close to the sea, like 3 minutes walking close. It's close to most restaurants and bars in the area. They can help you in choosing the tours for the next days or the van to move to another city. If you get there early, they can keep your luggage until check-in time Summing up, a very good experience, a very friendly host and a very good place port barton in general

Water pressure isn't awesome, it takes some time to do the shower, but given the place, even having running water is a premium. You can put anything to dry up on the balcony... but it never dries. It's the philippines that have high humidity, not a fault of the room, but keep it in mind. The road that leads to the structure isn't paved (yet), if you have a backpack no worries, if you have a trolley and it rained the day before, you'll be doing some exercise

La Lola Bar and Hostel is a vibe! The rooms are super cute, cozy, and clean. Breakfast is solid. Location is on point—close to the beach and terminal. Plus, they have motorcycle rentals and laundry service, which is super handy. The staff are chill and really helpful.

Had a small hiccup with the van transfer, but it wasn’t really on them.

I like how our room looked like. You wouldn’t think it’s a room in a budget at all!

A little bit of improvement with the TV and the WiFi connection

The two ladies at reception and in the restaurant were super helpful, from assisting us with booking island hopping and buses to renting a bike for the day. All of our interactions with them were seamless and pleasant. Breakfast was nice, and changes were easily accommodated. We also really appreciated that a full coffee menu was included in the free breakfast. Location was perfect and the veranda on the top floor is a great facility.

There’s a mould issue in room 5 that needs to be addressed. It’s been painted over but the smell is very apparent as soon as you walk in. Once rectified this would massively improve the rating.
