Do yourself a favor and don’t book at Tahlia’s village. 1. The hotel is situated in a non-touristic zone (NO taxi/grab available). Even if the position is close to Sanur harbor, only a more expensive, private transfer available. 2. Breakfast = rice + water. No juice, no fruit, no pancakes, no coffee, nothing. Just rice and water. 3. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. No restaurants/market close by. You will have to walk at least 500 meters (the first 100 in an unpaved road full of dust) in order to reach for water. 4. The hotel is not finished, they are still building some rooms so you will constantly pass through workers/materials since early morning. 5. The host is dishonest and there is a high probability you will sleep in a work-site. We wrote to the host one day before arriving to let him know our arrival time. He told us that he did not see the booking, but to come anyway because he had a room for us. 1 hour before arriving he write to us that there is problem of double booking, that the only solution he can find is put us in an “almost finished room” (only without tv). The reality is that the room was still under works. No light, no curtains, not working bathroom, everything terrible. We communicated with booking assistance and got a reimbursement of half of the booking price, but we are still not satisfied. The host should somehow be sanctioned for the greed and lack of honesty.

It's a really nice place to stay in Lombok. Coco was very helpful and nice. They even received us with free coconuts and helped us with any issues we could have. Smart TV and aircon was a big plus!!!

Very clean, super friendly staff, fairly close to the main attractions in North Lombok and a few steps from the beach. Room is nice and very comfortable, great price too.

the host was super friendly and welcoming. he helped us getting around when we needed something urgently and orgainzed us a taxi for departure. we were greeted with 2 fresh coconuts every morning (and even got a little rice speciality appetizer on the first day). it‘s also very close to Bangsal harbor (~20 mins by car).

there were insects and mice in the bathroom, which is understandable for an open bathroom (but they take care if spiders immediately). it‘s located very close to the sea but the beach there is not really clean.

the structure in the north of the island is completely surrounded by rice fields and the sea. Mass tourism absent a true corner of paradise. the resort is undergoing expansion. we were in the gorgeous two storey bungalow overlooking the sea and the sunset. peace tranquility.

Nothing. You just need to know how to integrate with local customs. For us westerners, the beaches are beautiful but none are equipped. You need to rent a scooter to get around.

Big beautiful bungalow with outside jungle bathroom and a kitchen. To our surprise there were no spiders or other bugs in the bathroom. Very comfortable and clean bedroom including air conditioner and mosquito net. There is a restaurant only 2 min away. Nice outside area to hang out

Outdoor shower and toilet located in a high mosquito/insect area. No shampoo, or conditioner. Had to push past a spiky fern to access the sink. Walls had large gaps between wooden planks reducing the effectiveness of the air conditioning. Grass was overgrown in the garden area. Road to the accommodation was in poor condition and unnamed making it hard for taxis to find. When I asked to hire a scooter, someone came with a scoopy with a 200k per day asking price. I was too shocked to even bother negotiating. FTR a superior vario costs 50k a day. This area of Lombok is still quite underdeveloped.

Very cute and cozy bungalow if you want some peace and quiet by the sea. We really enjoyed our stay and fresh coconuts from the yard's palm trees. Restaurants can be found around the corner. Beach is just around the corner.

The mosque close by started morning prayers from loudspeakers at 4:50am for about 15min, so earplugs were useful. (Nothing that the host can control, this is the case on the whole island.)
