Wadi Shab Beach House

We had quite a small room but perfect enough for one night, great location for morning start on wadi Shab to avoid crowds. Small pool on terrace was also nice. There is a shared and well equipped kitchen with fridge.

Very simple accommodation, beds were comfortable. Would probably not select it for a longer stay but perfectly fine for one night, we enjoyed walking around the small town, exploring the nearby beach and the view from our room.

Bathrooms were extremely small but functional, the kitchen could use an upgrade.

We arrived at the beach house and even though it was open no one was there to get us checked in. After a few phone calls I got through to the owner Sami who apologised and sent his worker straight away, I hadn't rang them beforehand and the worker explained that guests usually arrive around 5ish and we got there at 1, so not really a problem!! The property itself is awesome, with comfortable beds and access to a small pool which my kids loved. There is no access to the beach from the property but you have the full view of the sea from the pool and there is a children's park walking distance away. We stayed only one night as we were visiting Wadi Shab and this was our resting point and for the purpose it was just perfect. Sami rang again once we were settled to ask if everything was ok and his worker also left his number with us in case we needed anything!! Full access to the kitchen is provided which has a gas cooker, pots and pans, basic utensils, a kettle, and a coffee machine with plenty of tea, coffee, and sugar. There is no staff at this property all the time, we enjoyed the privacy!! I left my iWatch at the property and didn't realise until I was back in Muscat, I rang the worker who confirmed the watch was there and then Sami rang me and told me he would drop the watch off to me. True to his word, Sami drove all the way to Muscat and dropped the watch off to me at the hotel U was staying at, legendary guy!! Thank you Sami and thank you to your staff - will definitely be visiting again!!

Nothing - everything was perfect - If you are expecting a check-in desk and around-the-clock workers this place is not for you!!

The smell in the room was not very nice, the bathroom was very small and the shower was broken. It was ok for one night but I don't think we will stay there again
