Exceptional. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Meals are delicious. Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Loved every detail of this stay. Staff was amazing, even though they dont speak english very well but this is no issue, as they try their hardest on all aspects. Be prepared to eat a lot and well prepared food. All small town you can see from your hotel and on bright day even Fuji Mountain while eating breakfast.

The property was beautiful, clean, and had beautiful views. We booked a private bath and slept like babies whenever we used the bath. My partner’s shoulder pains also went away from the private onsen. The guest service here is incredible. A driver picked us up from the Gora station on our first day, and proceeded to drop us off and pick us up on following days for our sightseeing needs. We also booked breakfast and dinner - the dinner is one of the best meals I’ve had. Excellent courses and superb service. We really felt taken care of, our every need anticipated.

1.As an older adult with tattoos I could not use communal bath. 2. Unbending/ rigid- no meal accommodations at all. Check out early at 10:00, asked to stay until 11:00 die to stomach issue- unyielding, wanted to charge 3300 extra yen on top of high food and lodging prices. No empathy, willingness nor concern. Would not return.

Very premium feel. We had a private hot tub bath (with water from the hot springs) inside our room with great views. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel! Staff was very friendly and tried to speak in English to accommodate us. They went above and beyond.

The in-hotel dinner is expensive and we didn’t opt for it. The town has an amazing Chinese restaurant where we got dinner. 20 min walk from the hotel.

The staff were so accommodating, hospitable, and ensured my stay was comfortable. The staff accommodated my last minute addition for meals and were very communicative. I loved the outdoor private bath and the views were spectacular! Meals were delicious, albeit a lot of food. Loved being greeted with the small cookies and bubbles!

Was a little inconvenient to have to coordinate a driver to and from the accommodations, but I understand.
