La propreté des parties communes et du logement n’était pas au rendez vous

The location was great. Parking was very accessible and close to my room.

Cockroach in the kitchenette, which was next to the bed. Bathroom was not as clean as it might be. The shower temperature was very difficult to control and I have a 2 year old so she basically had to have it on cold so it didn't turn to hot instead of warm. Dangerous.

Spacious room, free parking and good location right in Franz Josef.

Everything is very old, the place needs serious maintenance. The mattresses are terrible, very very soft and uncomfortable. The minimum is to have good mattresses so guests can rest properly.

We wisten dat er geen ontbijtservice was, locatie zelf was prima. Omdat dit het enige was dat we nog konden reserveren namen we genoegen met de status van onderhoud en hygiëne. Het is immers een backpackersmotel. Gastheer was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

De hygiëne viel tegen, de staat van onderhoud. Dit was deels te verwachten.

The accomodation was close to everything that you might need in Franz Josef. It had a fridge within our room and the shared kitchen was well equipped.

The maintenance and cleanliness was not not as it should be. The motel is old and not well maintained. We removed by ourselves lot of spider-nets within the room. There are few newer things here and there but overall the general state of the motel was not ok.

Well positioned, clothes washing facilities, basic but good value

I really enjoyed my stay at the chateau backpackers. It’s a nice hostel with a lot of different facilities (hot pool and small fitness centre) and on a good day, the mountains were visible out of the kitchen. The staff is really helpful and friendly. I really appreciated that the owner baked delicious muffins and scones for his costumers

It has a great atmosphere and is located very well. Everything is simple but decent and especially the host made it an extra nice stay, even baking fresh complimentary snacks.

Still, the rooms are quite a bit outdated and could be cleaner.
