I did not stay at the apartment.

I was seriously misled about the property. There was no picture of the external structure of the building, just a front door with no context to the rest of there building. I was shocked on arrival to see the state of the front of the building and the poor location, which is considered unsafe, especially at night. I was unfamiliar with Darlington. The apartment is opposite a 24 hour garage. Multiple taxi drivers advised me not to stay at the apartment and therefore I didn't. I tried to get a refund for the 4 nights but was refused. I attach a photo of the front of the property, which is omitted from the listing for this property. The black door is the entrance. Had I seen such a photo on the listing I would never have booked the apartment in the first place. I had to book a different hotel on 28th April for 4 nights and am now out of pocket.

I liked that it was very clean. The shared kitchen has a refrigerator and electric stove. There is hot water in the shower.

It is very inconvenient that the toilet is shared, the shower is located outside the room. There are two large stains on the ceiling in the hallway from leaking water. The chair is broken. There are not enough amenities in the format: towels, hygiene products.

The bedsheets were stained with urine and there were pubic hairs in the bedding. The carpets were filthy. Clearly the accommodation had t been cleaned.

Good central location, walking distance to the town center Would recommend this place for long or short stay
