It was a bit secluded so I would recommend hiring a car as it was hard to get in and out of the property

We loved the staff and how kind they were. The place is literally the best to relax, unwind, detach and disconnect. Believe me you will be really disconnected. But it is worth the detachment from the world. In the fast paced life we lead. This place reminds us that at some point it is good to be a traveller and not merely tourists

It was a bit too rusty. The rooms lacked sufficient ventilation. You would be forced to keep the doors windows open to get the cool fresh air from sea . But thats also the beauty. Natural setting

Vi boede i telt, hvilket var den billigste mulighed. Det var et fint telt. Vi havde næsten stedet for os selv pga lavsæson, hvilket gjorde det til en afslappende og rolig fornøjelse. Den lokale kirke holdt julefest på Le Life den ene dag, hvilket var en sjov og unik oplevelse at være med til. Frankie, en af staff, var virkelig sød og hjælpsom med alt. Stedet er generelt ret fint lavet med bungalows og telte. Der er et udendørskøkken, som man kan bruge (men jeg er ikke sikker på, hvor veludstyret det var). Toiletterne og badene var fine. Der er rent drikkevand.

Transfer fra lufthavnen til Le Life kostede os 10.000 VT for to personer og tager 1,5 time. Koralrevet er smukt, men der er meget strøm og høje bølger, da det er den blæsende side af øen. Vi havde en lokal staff med i kajak, da vi ville snorkle, hvilket var en god sikkerhed for os - da man ellers kan blive trukket langt ud pludseligt. Maden var lidt dyr og ikke den bedste mad. Aktiviterne, som man kunne tilkøbe, var generelt lidt for dyre. Det virker til, at der er en distance mellem staff og ejerne. Stedet ejes af en mand fra Mauritius. Hans ekskone fra Australien arbejdede der også. Der var meget lokalt staff ansat, men generelt observerede vi en lidt ulige dynamik mellem dem.

The room wasn’t made up when we got there at 5pm. When ordering food or drink it was often unavailable. It’s hard to get staff’s attention to check in/out, order something or buy something.

Beautiful location with fantastic snorkelling our front. Friendly staff and generous room servicing (what a pleasure to have fresh sheets and dishes done most days!). Kids loved the friendly dogs and we always felt welcomed. Our bungalow looked right over the first sandy bay which is very safe - so the kids could swim while we laid on our verandah and watched.

I think increasing the price slightly but making the kayaks and snorkel gear free would be amazing. I also think food could be improved (or price lowered) - but considering the remoteness and newly trained staff, I think they did great.

Loved the location. Great to base ourselves for a couple of days to explore the other side of Efate. Bungalows on the waterfront were brilliant. Lovely staff and welcoming owners. A variety of food to choose from with a local touch. All were very tasty.

We thought it was great. It's not a 5 star resort however that's not what we expected or paid for.

The owners and the staff are just the most amazing ever, so lovely and willing to help in any way. The place is also beautiful, beachfront and we had our own little bay to get in the water.

It's on the windy side of the island so we had to drive to get any really good snorkeling or swimming done. Staff are extremely lovely however don't really know their way around a bar menu so drink service was inconsistent. It's quite isolated and very quiet which could be good if you're after a quiet time . Value for money wise you really can't beat it
