Large and private bungalows

Very rustic. Walking between the restaurant and bungalow completely black at night. Even phone torch is hardly adequate. Needs lighting. Restaurant food is ordinary.

Isolated resort with no crowds,very close to the ocean and empty beach,big area of the resort, house was clean and comfortable to sleep in, very comfy beds (and matresses), great tarrace of the restaurant (design, space, close to the beach), wonderful walk to the restaurant and good idea of table with chess

The local staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful, lovely to chat with and worked at 110% to make everything as nice as they possibly could with what they had available to them.

Out of a total of 11 nights in Vanuatu we stayed at LeLifefor 4 nights with our two teenage children & ate breakfast and dinner there. We can't recall a single meal where there were food items not available, simple everyday items - this seemed to be an issue caused by management ordering. Drinks were warm despite coming out of the fridge and the only way to get a cold drink was to ask staff to put it in the freezer for a while (which they happily did). It appears fridges and freezers were frequently turned off, especially overnight, which is concerning in the high heat. We regularly camp in remote areas for a week or two and are by no means fussy or high maintenance people but basic food and drink supply should not be an issue in a resort, no matter how small a resort. Tiny remote restaurants, islands & villages we visited and stayed in had better supplies to hand (not to mention icy cold drinks!). Information provided by owners on different locations for snorkelling, accomodation etc were not accurate. Thankfully we had a hire car so were able to be out and about all day which salvaged our time here. We will not stay here again.

The location is magical. The protected little beaches and beautiful reef are gorgeous . It really is a tropical paradise. The bungalows are tastefully decorated with a great view. Mattresses were comfy. The owner attempted to rectify some issues which was welcome and the stay did improve after moving bungalows. They recruit staff from local villages. This place could be the perfect relaxing getaway with a lot of work.

From the moment of arrival it was chaotic incompetence. Given the wrong room. (A fare with no bathroom) My booking stated my room had a ensuite & breakfast. The power went out over 20 times during our 7 day stay. If you need power for refrigerating insulin or a CPAP. DO NOT stay here. The electricity system is woefully inadequate for the resort. This will mean you regularly cannot shower/ flush loo/wifi. My husband has a CPAP and was left unable to sleep. We attempted to book elsewhere but no vacancy for the school holiday time., The neighbours dogs barked loudly all night (out of control of the owner but still affects guests) further keeping us awake all night. We were moved to the other side of the resort so we did appreciate this gesture from the owner. Our stay improved slightly after this. Later camp tents were set up in front of bungalows, ruining beach view. The restaurant (only place for guests to eat within 40min drive incl supermarkets) waiting times for food were Looong. The longest wait time- 1hr and 5 minutes. The order consistently wrong. Complaining meant more waiting for food. The staff seemed to not know what they are doing. Had a look of confusion at even simple requests (such as what is the wifi password?) and then had to confer with multiple other staff, who also couldn’t answer simple questions. It’s noble to recruit local people but you have to train them in hospitality & supervise until they are proficient. They were not. The offered activities didn’t run or were again very late. A booked massage, that I confirmed with staff 20 mins before the scheduled time didn’t show up. After waiting 45 mins I made other plans. They tried to charge me at checkout for this. The kayaking was also nearly an hour late. Our final bill was wrong- by lots. But the worst thing was the pillows. All of them had some degree of mould. The worst was nearly entirely black- not fit for human use.

We loved our stay at Le Life resort. Great location on the other side of the island. The owners were very lovely and helped us organise activities and transport. Rooms were cleaned daily and at a great standard. Lots of board games to play and swimming sports right off the resort. We would definitely recommend others to stay here! The location is great, the beds comfortable, the staff are lovely and super helpful. The communal area is welcoming and a good place to chat, relax, eat and get wifi. The snorkeling is good, just be careful of current.

The bathroom and kitchenette were basic and slightly grotty… not that clean. DownLights flashing through the night. Rubbish outside our bungalow in the bushes could be cleaned up.
