We asked for the earliest check-in time, and the owner informed us via text that we could check in at 2:00 PM. We arrived from KL to Ipoh at 2:40 PM. However, when we opened the apartment door, there was a strong unpleasant smell and we found that the apartment had not been cleaned. We immediately contacted the owner to complain. They apologized and said they would arrange for the cleaner to come. As a result, we were only able to enter the apartment at 4:30 PM. We were very tired from the journey and had to wait outside until the cleaning was completed. This was especially inconvenient as we needed to attend an event in the evening. The owner offered us with a late check-out, but we did not accept the offer as it did not resolve the inconvenience we experienced upon arrival. We booked a 4-room apartment, but only one parking lot was provided. We were unhappy about this arrangement. The security guard informed us that we needed to pay RM20.00 for an additional parking space, so we had to pay RM20.00 for our second car. Although our arrival experience was disappointing, we appreciate that the owner took action promptly. After the cleaning was completed, the apartment was nice and comfortable.
