"An accomodation that i would NOT recommend."

Location.

Unfortunately our stay was not good. There were cracked tiles in some areas and the bathroom window was in very poor condition, almost rotten. The toilet seat did not stay in place, so you had to hold it or it would rest against your back, which was very unpleasant. There was no hot water, and one of the beds the sheet was dirty. Also, there was no mirrow in the room and the soap in the bathroom was empty. It seems that nobody from the management cares about maintaining the facilities.

"Spacious apartment, perfect location"

We really loved the location and the patio that we used for our meals. The apartment is spacious, nicely furnished and has everything you need for a short stay. The staff is super friendly - you’ll meet them at the hotel down the street - we felt very welcome! We love Rhodes and would definitely come back to this place!

Some parts of the interior (kitchen cabinets) could use a do-over and the plates, glasses and cutlery seem a little bit of a collection of everything and could be more adjusted to the actual number of people the apartment can hold. For a longer stay it would be helpful to have some cleaning equipment in the cabinets like a broom or wipes. But the apartment got cleaned after a couple of days by the staff so it wasn’t a big issue.

"Damp room covered in flies - unresponsive host!"

The property listed does not represent the actual location of the room we were given. The room itself was in the cellar/underground. On arrival the room was absolutely covered in small flies, the type of flies that you find in a damp area. The property had a strong smell of damp. Initially we thought this was a small problem so we asked the host for some fly spray which the lady said she would bring. As we unpacked and checked the place further, the flies were in the bed and the bathroom, then we noticed a cockroach above our bed on the wall. As I am pregnant, we decided this was too much for me and that sleeping in a room that would need to be absolutely covered in fly spray would not be good for me to breathe in. We tried to contact the host on WhatsApp, she answered and pretended that the signal was bad, then proceeded to ignore all our attempts to message/call her. It was 1am by the time we arrived and had this issue so we were unable to book something else and we had no choice but to stay.

1 non corrisponde per niente alle foto, sembra invecchiato di 50 anni da quando sono state scattate. 2 la prima notte scopriamo che nel divano letto ci sono le cimici del letto, le quali non ci fanno dormire tutta la notte per il prurito e ci causano una gravissima reazione alla pelle, riempiendovi di bolle 3 dopo aver esposto il problema al proprietario dell’appartamento non riceviamo risposta fino a quando non decidiamo di contattare l’assistenza di Booking 4 ci dicono che avrebbero fatto una disinfestazione senza mai veramente palesarsi 5 quando arriviamo al punto di supplicarli di cambiarci appartamento mostrando le condizioni della nostra pelle hanno il coraggio di dire che la reazione era dovuta alla sabbia e che loro non avrebbero preso provvedimenti 6 continuiamo a insistere dicendo che non era sicuro per noi rimanere in quell’appartamento , chiamando di nuovo l’assistenza di booking per avere sostegno la quale ci comunica di aver inviato una mail al proprietario chiedendo di utilizzare i soldi della nostra prenotazione per pagarci un hotel sostitutivo 7 continuano a rifiutarsi di spostarci fino a quando una di noi non finisce in ospedale per una grave reazione allergica alle punture delle cimici.
