Best breakfast for the price and amazing service from the staff!!! Super recommend if you want a comfortable stay and the best sunrise view atop of tea fields!!

"Lovely and good-value base close to centre of Nuwaraeliya, with views of tea plantations"

The location is great - a 15 minute walk from centre of Nuwaraeliya - with a lovely view overlooking the tea plantations. The rooms are cottage-style and we had a sunny terrace just outside our door. ALSO the breakfast buffet was generous and offered a lot of variety.

The room was small and a bit worn but comfortable with a good firm mattress.

"Happy Inn, Nuwara Eliza"

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had no hot water initially, but the staff responded to our request very promptly and fixed the problem. The room we had was just like a treehouse, on top of the main building (the inn is situated on the hillside) and away from other guests. The big windows at the entrance of our room gave us a nice view over the tea plantation and down to the lake. The breakfast buffet was a nice bonus, you can have rice and curry, Sri Lankan pancakes, buns, cookies, fruits, nice tea and the usual Nescafé.

The noise, perhaps coming from below. Some reviews mentioned a musty smell, but I think it is due to the high humidity of the climate here. If it’s a sunny day you can air out, if it’s a cold rainy day, it’s damp naturally. The google map is not accurate if you punch in the address, put the name, happy inn, when you are navigating.

"Amazing service from Subash"

Exceptional service from the staff, especially Subash. Who taking good care of us during our stays. He is so kind and knowledgeable with travel ideas. He’s so kind and very helpful. He made our stays memorable. I leave their premises with big heart. Hopefully i can visit here again. Room is super clean with water heater supply. Breakfast is buffet and you can enjoy the food of Sri Lanka, and English breakfast along. The tastes is absolutely amazing.
