Logement au milieu de la nature avec une famille adorable. Ils proposent des dîners et petits déjeuners très copieux et variés. Il est possible d'aller jusqu'au Poring Springs à pied (45 minute de marche jusqu'à l'entrée). C'est éloigné de tout mais vous pouvez utiliser l'appli Maxim pour trouver un taxi.

Words cannot describe our experience here. It has truly been one of the most special experiences of our 3 months of travel. The whole family is incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming, and they genuinely make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Places and experiences like these are the future of travel personal, authentic, and full of heart. They not only dropped us to Kundasang, but also took us around to local markets and guided us with shopping advice for local indigenous rice and products. It never felt transactional; it felt like being hosted by people who genuinely care about sharing their culture and helping you experience the real Sabah. The food deserves a very special mention. They prepared amazing gluten-free and vegetarian meals for us with fresh ingredients, balanced flavours, and very little oil, something that is usually difficult to find while travelling in Borneo. Dragon fruit straight from the tree.Every meal felt homemade, healthy, and comforting. What made this stay unforgettable was the warmth and sincerity of the family. Sitting together, sharing stories, learning about the local culture, and experiencing their hospitality made us feel deeply connected to this place. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a meaningful and authentic travel experience.

We had two wonderful days at DA Family Mini Garden and felt welcomed from the very first second. For us the location was perfect, in the middle of the nature. I would also recommend everyone to not miss out the amazing breakfast and dinner they propose. We loved the home cooked food. Everyone of the family is super nice, welcoming and helpful. They have created a very special place and allow you to feel home away from home. I m very happy we have found that place - if I will ever be nearby again, I'd love to visit again. Thanks!!

Eine sehr familiäre Unterkunft, alle sind super freundlich. Die Zimmer sind einfach, sauber und terrassenförmig im Garten angelegt. Wir hatten ein Mietauto und konnten die Unterkunft gut erreichen. Abendessen und Frühstück werden frisch zubereitet und sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wer es liebt, etwas abgelegen zu wohnen, sollte hier buchen. Uns hag es gefallen. Der Sohn kümmert sich um die Gäste und spricht perfekt Englisch.

I really liked it! Immersion in family, comfort, and care. Very tasty food. Wonderful relaxation and walks through the jungle.

Wonderful homestay experience with great food in a beautiful garden. Food cooked by mom, who also does the gardening. Guests managed by Jo Jo, the boy genius behind it all. Entertainment provided by neighborhood kids, puppy, fish, cool bugs (dead leaf mantis) and great views.

The mattress was a bit firm, but I slept fine, especially after going to Poring Hot springs, which is only a 7 minute drive away. You do need to rent a car to make this stay work, but that's pretty standard for this area.

Die Familie hat uns mit offenen Armen empfangen und uns herzlich bewirtschaftet. Aus einer Nacht wurden vier Nächte, da wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Das Essen war grandios. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist gegen einen kleinen Aupreis erhältlich. Es ist alles einfach eingerichtet, aber es hat alles was man braucht. Wir empfehlen diesen ruhigen Ort sehr.

Ist abgelegen und mit ÖV nicht erreichbar. Die Familie bietet einen Shuttelservice an. Wir hatten ein Auto gemietet und daher waren wir sehr flexibel. Uns gefiehl der abgelegene, authentische Ort sehr.

Erg leuke kleinschalige accommodatie geëxporteerd door een lieve familie. Heerlijk eten voor een heel schappelijke prijs. Vanaf het dakterras mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Dichtbij de Poring hotspring en het is zeer de moeite waard om die te bezoeken. De eigenaar is heel behulpzaam en service gericht.

Everything was superb.

Deze plek zit boordevol liefde. De familie, de huisjes, de maaltijden — alles. Het is handig om met een eigen auto te komen, maar het hoeft niet per se. Het is een ontzettend fijne plek voor een tussenstop op je route Kota Kinabalu - Sandakan / Sepilok / Kinabatangan en verder (of terug). En blijf gerust langer dan 1 nacht!
