A pleasant and relaxing short break at Wood Farm Barn. Lovely accommodation with everything we needed for our stay. We hope to return!

Everything about it. Beautiful location, great facilities and an abundance of space inside and out.

It was a home from home experience, fully equipped, comfortable, clean and spacious. Karen has thought about everything to make your stay the perfect experience. Beautiful walks on the doorstep and so peaceful.

Nothing not to like

Such a secluded area, peaceful and quiet, lovely facilities, great value for money.

A lovely, spacious converted barn in a rural location in the heart of the countryside, but also within driving distance of local towns and villages. The property was warm and cosy and we had the added benefit of being able to use the wood burner when the temperature dropped at night. There is a functionally equipped kitchen (no dishwasher though), which allowed us to prepare meals etc, as there are no eating facilities on your doorstop; all a short drive away. We loved the outdoor patio area, which caught the sun in the afternoon, and more generally, the overall peace and tranquility of the place... which is exactly what we wanted. There are good pubs and restaurants a short drive away.

There was nothing that came close to spoiling our long weekend, the property is lovely, and very comfortable. Some minor niggles though included, an intermittent fault with the television, with electro-static bands sometimes appearing across the screen and the only solution was to pull the plug and restart. Also, the TV itself is old now, it is not a smart TV and wouldn't even accept a USB stick. Given the isolated nature of the property this should now be considered and essential upgrade. Other things like the struggling shower pump, causing the water to oscillate between hot and cold, and the Nespresso machine not working were minor irritants. I stress though, not enough to spoil the experience... just enough to drop the rating to a 9/10.
