Apartment in St Denys

All parts of the house other than the sofa are great.

Suitable for two people living in here, it’s too crowded for three adults, only one double bed and one sofa. There is no space on the sofa for an adult to lie down.

Everything was old and grubby. The duvet was stained and synthetic. It simply was a case of we came we saw we left. Aware it is budget accommodation but was not right for us.

Short drive to Southampton dock to get to our booked cruise. Shirt bus journey into Southampton centre.

The property advertises car parking. No way would you park your car down the overgrown, debris/glass, extremely narrow alleyway (photo attached). You can't see out all windows, they are obscured & the bedroom small window doesn't open; there was a fan in the room though; The bedroom was okay, but was a small double bed, with mattress that needs replacing, also small gap at the side to get in and out. The kitchen area is very small with sofa bed, this is at front of property and noisy, you can hear pedestrian crossing sounds. There was no sheet for pull out sofa bed, there was a quilt and pillows stuffed into black bin bags in a wardrobe. We contacted the owners, by the time they replied we'd gone to bed. There were hairs in the shower and on pillowcase for pull out sofa. We noticed a drain smell in the apartment after we got back from being out. (see photos). The property is not in the best of areas, looks rough from the front, there is a boarded up take away next door. We're still waiting for a reply regarding the shower issue. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend.

Not as pictured on website. Website displays a sofa lounge area Bed very uncomfortable as it seemed to have dips in mattress as though it was very old. No wifi password provided No safety instructions in case of emergency Couldn't get basic tv to work Didn’t feel secure as we weren’t sure whether the key code was just for our visit or if it was used by other residents or previous guests Car parking instructions should be clearer. As we were not told how to get to the rear of the property

A Bit smaller than I thought. But comfortable.quiet and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

It was clean.and close to what our journey was for. Shops and restaurants close by.

Good location, and handy self check in.

Apartment was small and sofa was stained, we only stayed for 10 mins and booked another property

Very quiet had a nice little garden very clean tidy everything you needed cutlery glasses iron ironing board fan

Could’ve had some shower gel and toiletries in there as they had the dispensers but they were empty. Also parking at the back of the property could do with tidying up and cutting bushes back as not that easy to get down.
