Apartment in St Denys

It served a purpose and was ok. The price was very reasonable ok for a one night stay as my husband and I was going on a cruise the next day. Mary Fortune.

Tv was in the bedroom and couldn’t work the cooker. Parking was ok for a small car. A larger car would have been an issue. Communication with the host was not quickly received.

Easy to book and key coded door system was easy to use

I opened the door to the flat and as soon as I opened it we got an awful strong smell of cannabis/weed The private parking space was down a really tight alley round the back of the property scratched the car on prickly bushes When we were trying to sleep a security light went on and off every few minutes all night so hardly slept

Not good area. Boarded up premises next door. Never stayed. Stayed overnight family

The apartment was clean. It was very basic and met our needs. The location is close to Portswood which was ideal for moving my daughter into her new university housing. The staff responded promptly to my query during check in and when the plugs tripped. They phoned and resolved the issues efficiently.

The checking in information wasn't all that clear because the Booking.com website provides a pin which caused confusion with the check in pin.

Nothing really

First impressions - parking although available was incredibly difficult to access and use, this wasn't stated. Apartment not as clean as I think it should be, soft furnishings looked grubby, kitchen pans etc needed washing because were visibly dirty. We had stated there were 3 of is on the original booking but the bed settee wasn't made up nor was there bedding anyway for us to do so so we had to message. This was about 7.30pm and it took 90mins for some to arrive. I don't know who was in the rest of the building but it was ridiculously noisy right through until about 1am with stomping down the stairs (right next to the main bedroom) and moving furniture or something above that room. Noting that the rules for the Apartment said to respect the noise curfew!

Parking was down a narrow alleyway Apartment was more like a student bedsit - no bedding for sofa bed which was stained and only 68p on the electric nothing like the photos

This booking was a disgrace we got a taxi to the address we had a code which started with the letter c then numbers it did not work. I telephoned the number given to me nobody answered. so we were stuck with no were to go we went back into Southampton and booked a night there which cost me 74 pounds.we tried the phone number again no answer the house itself looked dirty and unused. I asked at the shop down the st and they said it was unused. I havevbern with booking. com for years .this is a scam. I paid on line there was no cancellation policy. this is not upto booking. com standards.i lost a day's holiday. it cost me 13 pounds for taxi 48 we paid for the no hotel. 74 pounds for to book a night in Southampton. booked on booking. com you will see on my account I am a top genius member. I would like a refund of this money and hopefully you will ban these scamers from your wonderful company. a holiday ruined.i will always stay with booking. com. Roy newbould .

We lost a full day of our holiday

Ideal location to be near family. Lovely bread shop across the road.

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Could have done with a fan in the room with the weather being so hot.
