John's Cottage

Beautiful cottage, very clean, the shower is fabulous. Everything you could need for cooking and day-to-day in the kitchen. Lovely space to spend time around the table with the family. 3 roomy bedrooms.

Plenty of space very quiet perfect little getaway

We had a lovely weekend, 2 min drive into Wedmore, with 2 great pubs and Cheddar gorge is about 10 mins away.

The only issue we had, ( we had dogs with us ) was that we couldn’t leave the doors open as it leads directly onto the drive.

Comfortable, beautifully decorated, we had everything we needed. Welcoming and friendly host. Good location. Great for our family and our dog.

Liked everything but would like to see hand rail in the large shower cubicle as the elderly men struggled a bit without one

The property was in a good location for exploring the surrounding area. There’s a public footpath which takes you through the owners garden and into the nearest village without having to walk along the busy road. The bedrooms were clean and the bed’s comfortable.

The kitchenware could’ve done with a re stock, there wasn’t quite enough glasses, mugs etc and there was no cheese grater.

Gorgeous cottage. Exceptionally clean with everything you could need. Decor was nice. Bottle of prosecco on arrival was a nice touch. Up to date TV which I was able to cast to (kept the kids happy). Perfect for a little get away. Very quiet location. Wedmore is just down the road and the village is lovely and has a surprising number of shops and eateries. Would recommend.

If I was really being pushed I'd say the beds could have been comfier. But bed comfort is a personal thing anyway and you can't cater for every preference.
