John's Cottage

Lovely comfortable cottage. Had everything we needed and had a lovely bottle of bubbly waiting for us plus milk and a few cupboard extras.

The boiler went off and I ended up with a cold shower. However it was sorted within minutes. Also found it abit difficult walking the dog any distance as there were no pavements. The joys of country lanes

Well equipped, clean and very comfortable cottage with great cooking equipment.

The location was beautiful and scenic. The host was lovely enough to leave tea and coffee making facilities for us. There was a separate cleaning areas where you could also wash and dry your clothes if needed to. The shared garden was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay at Johns cottage and will definitely come again.

Beautiful, light, clean cottage. Ideal for disabled people. Great sized rooms and shower.

Really squeaky doors and it was not an ideal place to stay if you are unable to walk along roadsides (No paths) if you fancied getting out with no car.

Everything was modern facilities and storage space was very good . Comfortable bed and sofa . very cosy fire place , well thought out design .

This could have done with a latch on the outside of the patio door , worried about the gush of wind and door blowing . could do with more work space in kitchen , maybe microwave on a shelf ? light outside not working .

Cottage was clean and finished to a high standard, with everything you could need for our stay. Bed was comfortable. Nearby was cheddar with tesco extra, and some nice walks, shower was lush, and the extra touch of a pint of milk in. The fridge was lovely. With car parking for two cars right next door to the cottage, we came down to see the Bridgwater carnival which was exceptional and about half hour away, the cottage was open when we got there for us as owners live next door. Three lovely size bedrooms two double and 1 twin , fresh towel available they really had thought of everything.

Wasn’t easy to see the phone box at the bottom of the lane when coming from one direction but that could have been just us ,

We loved everything . The cottage is lovely , clean and very well equipped . We couldn’t have asked for more . Lovely little secure garden for the dogs . Easy parking and easy to get to Glastonbury which was the main reason for the trip . We were very happy .

We genuinely liked everything

Near Cheddar Gorge and very clean and comfortable would highly recommend the accommodation .
