Stylish Central Apartment for the Best City Break

Perfect location: Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and main sights are all nearby. Great transport: Excellent public transport connections, including easy routes to and from the airport. Good climate: The apartment stays comfortably cool inside, even when it is very warm outside. Decent layout: Clean and good bathroom, normal dining room, and an overall okay bedroom.

Wardrobe issues: The wardrobe was partly blocked and filled with unpleasant items. A large vacuum cleaner occupied the clothes-hanging section. Poor host flexibility: The bed blanket was too small. When asked for a bigger one, the host refused, claiming the current one was "standard." Neglected building: The building interior is very old, lacks renovation, and there was rubbish left in front of neighboring doors. Difficult access: The apartment is on the 3rd floor (2nd floor UK style) with long, steep stairs. It is very tough if you have heavy luggage. Early checkout: Check-out time is a bit too early, strictly at 10:00 AM.

The apartment was clean and convenient with all necessary facilities. Instructions are very detailed, including also extra help for moving around. The host was available when necessary and kind. The area is central and close to stops for all types of transportation.

Small things, like the curtains not being well fit or a lamp being broken. Also worth to know (what is already mentioned in the description), that the apartment is on 3rd floor and there is no lift, so one has to go through the stairs (no problem for us)

1. The location was amazing - right next to the restaurants, bars and attractions 2. The apartment, despite being in the middle of the city, was super quiet (was looking over a quiet courtyard), so it was a huge plus! 3. The apartment was really cozy, modern and comfortable - enough space for a longer stay, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine with a drying rack, aircon etc. 4. The building itself was a historic one with a lot of character 5. Thorough instruction manual sent by the owner, which was very helpful.

If you have lots of heavy suitcases, consider that there was no elevator and the apartment was on the third floor. A TV could have been a tad bigger and perhaps more bowls, dishes could have been provided in the kitchen, but that's really nitpicking, as overall it was a fantastic place and if ever in Budapest, would definitely stay there again!
