"Love the place and will come back, but Housekeeping needs a bit of attention"

Love the simplicity of Mount Park and really enjoy being there because it is private and peaceful. Great showers! Favourite is Whispering Waters - comfortable beds & pillows and great shower / water pressure.

In Clivia, the curtains were dirty and the cabin could do with a deep clean, eg the tip jar and cutting board had dirt on it and the strip of wood on the walls had old dirt, as well as the bottom of the windows. The pillows aren't great and the beds not as comfortable as Whispering Waters. Husband fell through a rotting plank on the bridge and hurt his leg.

Stunning location, friendly staff, they try to please and create a great atmosphere. The gurgling brook next to the cottage was wonderful.

Somewhat basic accommodation, perfectly functional but hard to maintain immaculately in the rustic environment.

"A wonderful place to escape to…."

Fabulous place if you want to get lost in a very beautiful and remote part of South Africa.

When I booked WAZE said 8km (As a bird flies) thought it was close and turned out to be approx 30km away..very beautiful mountain passes. Local conveniences over 40 minutes away and booking was done on the spur of the moment. Internet slow intermittent, no tv and no tea, coffee.

Breakfast and lunch was great we enjoyed Ribs with my little dogs. The staff was so friendly we felt like we home.
