St James Lodge

Flat was very nicely equipped and decorated. Everything I needed. Bed was firm but comfy. Fan was supplied (no air con). Sofa was very comfy which is unusual for these kinds of apartments. Owner responded quickly to a query about the light. Steep narrow stairs might be challenging for those who are less mobile or children.

TV didn't seem to have many terrestrial channels - however Netflix (needed own account) and streaming was enabled. The location of the flat on a busy ish road meant that late evening a lot of the exhaust fumes from the road below came up into the living room as the windows were open due to the heat. This was a bit unpleasant, but I guess can't be helped.

Clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Tea, coffee milk etc were appreciated

There was a little noise from outside but nothing we couldn’t sleep through.

Not applicable as it was a whole apartment.
