Elegant Flat in Oxford Center with Parking

Excellent location, very close to centre

Lack of tea spoons. Bathroom sink plug not functioning.

This flat was very close to centre of Oxford, 400m to Westgate shopping centre, 600 m to Cornmarket. The kitchen was well equipped and while we did not have a car the car parking space would be very useful for someone with a car, Bus stops very close.

It was a bit off putting to see ear plugs provided, however we were not bothered by noise. We were out in day time when traffic was heavier. There were 2 'kitchen' chairs and a fold away table but no comfy chairs to sit in. Space was a bit of an issue but at least one comfy chair would have been nice.

It was clean and central location.

Couldnt check in at agreed time due to key fob lock. Called staff and they lied about the fact we didn’t type the code in correctly which we had. we’ve used those lockboxes many times before. Staff admitted they’d messed up “cleaner timings” to enter the flat so couldnt get in for an hour. Although this wasn’t really a big problem. However, Cold shower, water booster didn’t work and the water tank didn’t seem to retain hot water. Lots of noise (bedroom window by noisy busy main road), tapping/banging next door at 7-8am, no mirror inside flat other than bedroom, fridge setting (although turned down seemed stuck on freezing), heater in hall didn’t work, heater / air con unit did work but very loud. Not ideal in cold winter.

The property was big enough for myself my partner and our two dogs 😃 Great facilities and the host was really communicative. Parking was easily sussed and access to and from the property was simple & close to the town of Oxford

We ran out of hot water very quickly when showering. Close to the road therefore noise from the traffic can be heard from inside. Also the heating situation was very loud - didn't really bother us but can imagine this being a problem to some There was some rubbish in a basket on the shelving unit who we assume it was from those who last stayed.
