Ubud Gata Guest House

Very clean and tidy room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom small but perfectly functional (no weird smells!). Mini mart right in front.

No chair for the “desk” but I just used a chair from the balcony, air con a little weak, surrounded by bars/restaurants so noisy at night but this is only cos it’s so centrally located. Just make sure you have ear plugs.

Location is right on one of the main street and surprisingly it is quiet inside. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Room is spacious with a comfortable bed.

There was obviously some water intrusion to the lower unit that I stayed in and mold is evident on the lower portion of the walls. The bathroom shower curtain was also moldy. I realize this is a tropical climate and it’s damp and humid but the walls can easily be repaired and the shower curtain should be replaced or at least disinfected. There is no excuse for not maintaining the property. That explains the musty odour in the room. If staying here, I would request one of the upper units since it’s likely that there may not be any water damage on the higher elevation.

Cozy clean european style room. Helpful staff, helped to store my luggage till next check in.

Bar outside has good live music which can be noisy for you, so consider that fact if you are sensible to that.

This property was very central and only a 10 min walk from the monkey forest. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff were so friendly.

So clean and gardens are perfect. 10m walk to Main Street. 4 guest houses 2 ground floor and 2 above. Staff are very friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. Definitely would come back here again and would recommend for solo travellers as it’s very safe. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
