Self-contained flat in a villa in a very quiet part of town. The owner arranged a warm welcome even when we arrived quite late (around 10 pm). Very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities with coffee and tea available. A welcome treat with excellent port wine. What's also cool is that the owner has prepared original leaflets for guests with useful and interesting information about things worth visiting in Coimbra and about Portugal itself.

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was very quiet at night. Ana was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about local restaurants and things to visit. We liked being able to sit on the balcony and look at the view after a long day out visiting. It was very easy and convenient for visiting Coimbra and the region.

Everything was great but the only thing I can think of that could be better would be to have some local products in the breakfast.
