Parklands Motorlodge & Holiday Park

Good place to stay in Turangi, you're a short walk away from the main town where all the restaurants and supermarkets etc are. Room has most of what you would need, and the shared kitchen and bathroom are across the building. Facilities are kept very neat and tidy.

We couldn’t check in early but the desk gave us the key early so we could come back late to get in. So helpful. Accomodation was great, we stayed in a family unit. Was exactly all we needed. My wife left her wallet behind and we didn’t realise until a few days later, staff had found it and posted back to us in Australia without any hassle.

Good sized 1 brm unit with a double bed in the bedroom and 2 singles in the lounge area. Really nice food in the restaurant on site.

The shower wasnt clean, and the restaurant was really noisy - we ended up getting our meals in a doggy bag and going back to the unit to eat them.

Room was fine.

Poor having to go outside to communal, campsite toilet facilities. Poor value for money.
