Bourton on the Water Country Chic Authentic Cottage

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Just the perfect setting to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. The owners went the extra mile for us too.

Fabulous property

Sofa wasn’t very comfortable

We stayed at the cottage for the few days following our wedding, and it was just absolutely perfect for what we needed. Super cosy and comfortable, full of charm and thoughtful touches, including special gifts to congratulate us on our marriage! We loved the comfy bed and the log fire. Location was ideal, just moments away from the Bourton high street which meant we could easily stroll out to the nice nearby restaurants and shops. It felt like a home away from home and we are so grateful to the hosts for such a special experience. Thank you!

Wow, this property is amazing, so cute and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal as just a short distance from the village and all amenities. The hosts also sent prompt replies to our questions. Log burner was lovely and makes the cottage extra special. Very easy to lights and a few logs, kindling, firefighters and matches also supplied to get you started. The use of parking facility on opposite neighbours drive was excellent and would definitely recommend to book as also very reasonably priced.

Sofa and chairs could do with being a little more comfortable but this did not influence our rating and the style looked the part as definitely Scandi chic.

The shower could be difficult to use but nothing else comes to mind.
