Maple Retreat by Blue Spring

Very private with all the facilities we needed. Peaceful and quiet. A good stopping place between Napier and Auckland .

Might have been more convenient being nearer to shops but we had prepared our selves beforehand so wasn’t a problem for us!

There was a misunderstanding around parking. I had asked if there was secure off street parking for my vehicle and trailer (as my trailer had been stolen in the past) and the reply was yes, they could accommodate that and sent me instructions to go up driveway and park on grass, so, I'd pictured in my mind a big parking area. However, when I got there, I quickly learned that it was not so. I wouldn't even fit my ute without a trailer up there, so I had to park it down the road. I was a little nervous, but thankfully, they are situated in a good neighborhood. It was nice and quiet until they got home with their toddler and toddler's being toddler's, the walls suddenly became very thin, and the house got quite noisey until they went to bed. I think if I didn't have such an early start the next morning it probably wouldn't have bothered me. That being said, I would stay there again just because of what you do get for the money.

Peaceful ... private ... the comfortable bed. The fact that you could walk to the shopping centre if you needed to and get all your needs.

Clean, well appointed , tranquil and a beautiful view to boot!
