Barnacle Barn, North Norfolk

The property was lovely , the grounds were stunning , very well equipped and clean and tidy and extremely close to Cromer and the local pub was lovely and served lovely homemade food.

We had an issue with the shower as there was only a button for the power on but nothing for the temperature or a hose bit to the shower so made the shower un - useable as it only come on and was cold. When we asked the owner for help he was unable to fix the problem. Luckily we had a small bath so we were able to use this.

Host provided great directions so easy to find. Spotlessly clean, lovely touch leaving milk so we could have a cup of tea. Booklet giving instructions for all appliances and other useful information was appreciated.

Ventalation especially at night was difficult as only small windows that didn't open much. During day/evening could leave door open onto small enclosed private garden though.

The bed wS comfortable. That was it .

No sign to locate the individual barn. Cleanliness was not to our standard. Private outside space was a filthy tables and chairs. Shared space was well manicured. Shower was useless and the “baby bath” the same . The microwave was at such a height that I would consider it a danger to use. Tv controls not user friendly

Shower water pressure was non existent - either awful pressure at full cold, or a dribble at hot. Bin situation is disgusting. Big bigs outside of property are not labeled, maggots, filthy.

Great little place, very comfortable and private.

Only an issue for us personally, may not be a problem for most others, but the sofa was too small for us to really utilise.

Liked the garden for the dog to play
