The Lake House

plenty of space for the family and good location.

The view was amazing! Close to town centre for food and beverages. Clean and tidy, cozy home, with all double beds in the rooms, and nice modern furnishings. Having extra chairs outside on the deck and a stool in the bedrooms and bathroom were helpful. Warm flannelette bedding was a nice touch. The kitchenware was in great condition. The bedding and towels were in excellent condition (except for the ensuite bathmat). The house and lawns were immaculate and we had all we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The ice in the freezer was a welcome bonus!

-The ad didn't seem to state that one of the 'bathrooms' was an ensuite, which surprised us on arrival, but it was still good to have an extra toilet and basin when the main bathroom was in use. -No free view channels available? Working the TV was a bit challenging. Hard to fault otherwise!

That we got a $50.00 bill for a call out fee for them to come and remove the fire alarm that made noise and kept us awake and also to bring us a spare key as no one told us about the secret spot where they kept the spare key

location is close to the river so mosquitos love to hang out and make themselves known

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake house. The house was clean, nice view and enjoyed going for a walk by the river.

There was no cleaning cloth or paper towel in the kitchen.

Easy to find, super cosy and well looked after. nice short walk to the town centre and perfect travel distance to Tongariro Crossing

Couldn’t find the recycling bins No warning about the back access being a gravel track. Would not recommend low cars

Location - was amazing.

Water pressure… was terrible.
