Harbor View Inn Tawas

Nice clean room.

There is no Bay View, the bay was blocked by other buildings.

Location, room was quiet, easy to get suitcases from the car to the room.

No windows in the room to the outside, only windows opened to a hallway. Very dark in the room. Wash clothes in the bathroom were dirty grey and smelled bad. Yuck. Bath sink faucet somehow got air in the water lines and spit water onto my wife twice, and onto me once. Very bad faucet to use in a motel bathroom application. The bathtub spigot has an unusual mechanism to go from filling the tub to taking a shower. Directions on how to use it were not very good and were hidden by the shower curtain. The shower curtain rod was not installed properly so the curtain tended to bunch up in the middle, making it hard to keep from splashing water onto the floor. Needed constant adjustment. Beds had dark sheets which means they weren't sanitized. Also the bed has some sand in it when we got into it. Yuck. We'd booked the room for 3 nights but left after the first night. I'm trying to get a refund for the 2 unused nights.

It looked new

The bathroom smelled like puke/musty. The entire room smelled the same and it just smelled musty throughout.

Did not have breakfast. Location was excellent.

Room was 54 degrees upon arrival. Took about an hour to warm up the room to a comfortable level. Would prefer coffee service in the room.

Room was clean. Some outdoor space to use.

Air conditioner was extremely loud

The room was very clean and was a good size. The bathroom was totally redone, very clean and nice. We had to walk next door for the breakfast; but, was not a problem at all. The hotel was very quiet. Great location. I would book again.
