Al Vicolo di Ercolano

This was the cutest little home I have ever rented. The owner has a neck for making the home bright, colorful, modern and cheerful although it was a tiny unit we rented it’s amenities were for superior then large rentals such as its bathroom and bedroom.

Great location. Very clean and cozy room. Lucrezia is very helpful and friendly host.

Lovely owner who had left lovely attentions such as delicious snacks upon arrival. Ideally located in front of Herculanum archeological park and walking distance to the museum, beach and station. Plenty of affordable dining and grocery shopping around. We really enjoyed this typical Italian neighborhood with its coffees shops, fishermen, fruit shops and so on. True, humble and simple, just the way we like it.

the only downside was a large number of mosquitoes when everything was closed and they bit me heavily (

1. The location was walkable from Herculaneum archaeological park. 2. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated with a balcony. 3. The breakfast was good and other small snacks and juices were also provided. 4. The lady who handed over the key was warm and welcoming

Nothing much

This location is perfect for visiting Herculaneum. 5 minute walk to the entrance. If you want a real taste of Italy without all the tourist trappings, this is a great place to come. The real gem of the place is Lucretia: she went above and beyond. Drove me to an on call doctor’s clinic and stayed with me to help, drove us to the train station after allowing us to leave our bags in the suite until after our tour was over. And had warm pastries and coffee delivered to our door at our selected time for breakfast. Amazing!

Breakfast. Best shower in town, Quietly set with balcony into the street bustle below. A good way to escape. A great location, central to all the leisure activities.

There was nothing to not like.

This has been my favourite stay out of nine months of travelling. Impeccably clean, beautifully appointed to create a calm and quiet retreat from the bustling market atmosphere outside. Lucretia included the most welcoming touches to make me feel special and looked after, she even offered to collect me from Napoli when I was struggling to confirm public transport options. A lovely person and host. I wish I'd booked to stay longer.

There was nothing I didn't like - I loved it all. The only thing missing for me was a comfy armchair in the window bay....that would be a nice touch 😊

The location is great, 2 minutes away from the ruins and virtual museum. The host is very hospitable and helpful. The portion of breakfast based on guest’s preferences is huge!

By the road, can hear a little bit noise. The shower water wasn’t that great (became cold sooner than expected)

This apartment is a great place to stay in Ercolano. It's located a 10 minute walk from the Ercolano Scavi train station, convenient for reaching Naples and Pompeii. Herculaneum is literally two minutes from the apartment. The owner was so welcoming and nice, she made sure I had a good stay and was always available for any questions. There's a some breakfast snacks available and a coffee machine as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

The curtains are thin and not really blocking the outside lights
