Amazing to have bread butter and jam left there for us as we got in late and hadn’t gone shopping yet!

Mattresses in top room were a little lumpy

Gorgeous cosy cottage, had everything we needed.

Beautiful period cottage.

It’s character and location. Very peaceful village. Easily accessible by A1.

Kirsty supplied us plenty of choice for breakfast.

Cost and comfy. 2 double rooms with comfy beds. Very comfy lounge seating. Plenty of off road parking available.

2 Low door ways, but what you get with cottages.

Very Comfortable, lots of room, well furnished. Fresh provisions left for us in fridge was a nice touch. Nice balcony to sit out on. Car parking space.

Really quaint and quirky typical English rural red-brick country village and the upstairs flat matches with low beamed ceilings and real sense of history.

Sadly the Sat Nav System doesn't take you direct to the property - better to use "What Three Words" and the location is ///javelin.flopping.contoured. I also hadn't checked messages before departure and had to hunt for Kirsty's telephone number late in the day and there was no reply, I later spotted Matthews and then all was well. I should have been better prepared (lots on so only really started looking at detail as we approached the location!). Plan ahead and know your contact numbers before you go.
