AK Serviced Apartments - Exclusive Two-Bedroom Apartment

Perfect location, and as described. Well acquainted with the area. Easy and flawless access. Stayed only a day, but can see myself staying there longer without issue — amenities were good, a fully furnished and functional stay. Although we didn’t drive, very close to train station, there was street parking on this occasion.

From the outside it didn't look amazing but once in it's lovely

The host was extremely accommodating and provided extra bedding and linen for the two children who were with us. The apartment itself was very clean and very warm and the beds were very comfortable. Also within walking distance of Wetherspoons in City Road which was very convenient for our group. The host was very easy to contact and accommodated our early arrival.

There is a need to ensure that all things listed are available. Eg shower toiletries, hair dryer.

The apartment was cold and starting to be quite run. Quite a lot of the furniture needs replacing there was dirty and chipped mugs in the draws, also rusty cooking pans. The apartment is in the student area so was very loud and very untidy. The beds weren't that comfortable either. I feel it was somewhat overpriced for what it was, but on the plus side it is fairly close to the city centre, about a 10 minute walk. Cardiff is a great city to visit and we will definitely be back again but will probably stay in a travel lodge.

Decent location if looking for something central as only 10min walk to city centre.

Parking was a nightmare as all surrounding streets are limited to a 2hrs stay if you’re not a permit holder. Would be nice if the property came with a permit, it would have saved the 90 min search for a car park in rush hour (NCP £33 for 34hrs..!!). A forewarning of the parking situation would have saved a lot of time and stress. The bedrooms could have been laid out better, a double bed in a corner isn’t very functional. Towels weren’t out on arrival, we found them in shopping bags in wardrobe. The door handle of the bedroom at top of the stairs is too close to the jamb, my wife jammed her hand a couple of times during our stay. The feature wall clock on living room wall could do with either new batteries or fixing. TV is a little too high on wall.

Self check in, Location is centre of Cardiff near city Road where all the food restaurants are. Owner was very polite and hospitable. Looked exactly like the pictures no suprises.
