It was dirty cobwebs and spiders all over the place. The ignition on the stove was not working and there were no matches or a lighter, the microwave was unusable as it was disgusting. The toilet seat was broken, the wardrobe door came off its hinges. In one of the bedrooms there was nowhere to hang clothes there were two cupboards but they were full of rubbish.

Location close to my friends was good

The place wasn't as clean as I expected. A dirty cloth had been used to wipe the dining table, coffee table & glass door and it left streaky marks all over. Cupboards in the double bedroom full of rubbish & rags, under the stairs full of rubbish, microwave not clean. Before I left Australia I phoned the host re the key lock number & told her that although no pre payment was suppose to be taken, full payment was taken from my card in March. She confirmed that it had & also said there was no hair dryer. On my 2nd last day there she phoned me to say that I hadn't paid & my CC was coming up as stolen. I agreed to phone her later to get her email address so I could provide proof of payment as she demanded it asap. When I did she apologised profusely as, yes, she had taken payment out in March. She didn't even have the manners to phone me as soon as she learnt this & apologise, I had to wait until I phoned her. Thank goodness I had changed my cc as she would have taken double payment & I doubt that I would have got any back.

Comfortable beds, clean bedding and the shower wasn't too bad. Good location

A few quick, cheap tweaks would make all the difference - fix the broken toilet seat, put a pull thingy on the light pull in the bathroom (i couldn't bear to touch it with bare hands), wardrobe broken with no hangers. I can't understand why the owner wouldn't deal with these simple things and stop people moaning in the reviews! Also, a mirror near a plug socket? Maybe that's getting too fussy😂

The location was convenient but it was the only option within 10 miles of the wedding we were attending

It was filthy. The toilet seat was not properly fixed, the whole place looked tatty, grimy and disgusting. We felt so uncomfortable that we didn’t feel able to stay. Within an hour of arriving, we booked somewhere else because we couldn’t bear the thought of walking barefoot on the carpet after a shower. We don’t make a habit of forfeiting the cost of our accommodation and incurring a duplicate cost, plus a £50 taxi fare home from an event, but that’s how bad this place was.

House was clean and comfortable, quiet and familiar area which was good , Janice is very friendly and helpful if guest need anything

The location was easy to find and easy to get into.

The front garden was full of weeds and a broken plastic storage box. The toilet seat was broken, the grout in the bathroom needed cleaning, it was pink from soap residue, the light pull cord had no 'acorn' and was grubby. The back garden had rusty deckchairs, broken fencing, it was not safe to use. The house smelled damp. We stayed for half an hour and left to find alternative accomodation. In my opinion it should not be being rented out until it is sorted out.

The views were outstanding. Great location 15 minute drive to the beach, lovely town with great local pubs and food.

Very cosy family snug, ideal for a family stay. Reading a few reviews when me and my partner booked. When we arrived there was a brand new boiler with remote control, someone had mentioned about no heating? We had no troubles at all. Would highly recommend

Very cheap! Comfortable bed! Quiet location! Lots of parking
