Nous sommes arrivés en matinée mais n'avons pu récupérer les lés qu'à 15h00 (prévu dans le contrat) mais nous avions annoncé notre arrivée en avance et pas de possibilité d'y aller avant.

Not customer-focused. It was complicated to access the property. There was an online check-in system with no option to enter number of guests and arrival/departure. I'd originally booked the villa back in October for a work event, but when the venue of the event changed, I found the location of the villa no longer suited me. I would still have tried to make it work, but in the days running up to the rental starting I was getting several texts/emails a day with various requests to check-in. They all appeared automated and there was no reply when I tried to phone to amend number of guests or had a question. I think I only received one message with an individual response. Knowing I'd arrive late on a Sunday and without the access code in hand I decided to book elsewhere. I ended up staying the week in a hotel in central Faro. It worked brilliantly. But all this was an inconvenient and expensive mistake!

The property was great, no complaints about the villa. Our issue is the service received.

When we got there the villa was double booked, we told the host we would arrive at 1am Saturday morning, when we got there at this time the house was full of other tenants. Fortunately they let us stay with them. However we tried reporting this to the host with no luck, and when we did get hold of him there was no apology, no offer of the night we paid for returned. Instead we got a rude message demanding the deposit.

The size of the house and the location

They need to make a lot of improvements, baby gate was broken, mirror from bathroom broken, sofa bed was not cleaned properly, no washing up liquid and sponge etc etc The need to ventilate the property more often.
