The location is perfect, you're right in the national park, surrounded by nothing but nature, its a perfect place to get away from everything, peaceful, friendly dogs running round, the staff are really nice, the young lads are super polite and helpful.

Our room was not very clean. The bedding did not fit the bed and was not very clean.

It is set in lovely countryside but you could be at any homestay in Phong Nha

Do not stay in this hotel! The management are a scam. We made a booking through booking.com and were given rooms that were apparently more expensive than we had booked. We weren't informed of this but on the second day of our stay they said that the booking.com fee was only half of the money needed to pay. We were then informed by the manager that the receptionist had made a mistake and they would be personally responsible by the manager to pay for the difference in room fee. We asked the poor kid on reception if this was true and he was visibly teary about having to have money taken out of his wages. The manager was clearly playing some weird manipulative game to get more money out of us. I am unsure if the management were being truthful or just trying to get more money than the booking.com fee however it is the worst experience I have had in any hotel in the 4years I've lived in Vietnam and tainted what should have been a relaxing experience. Additionally they allowed karaoke to play loudly despite having children staying until midnight. It is not the peaceful homestay the pictures would suggest. I have been to Phong Nha twice before. There are lovely homestays on the river in the town for the same money. Do not waste your money. It and the management of this hotel are inexcusable in their treatment of guests and their own staff. Any reputable business would have accepted flaw, management would have owned the mistakes of their team and they wouldn’t have kept pestering guests. Avoid at all costs. It is a sham!
