Lovely country house with large garden

Air conditioning or fan in room would have been nice.

Quite location. Plenty of parking. Food was tasty an excellent value. Bedrooms a good size and very comlfy Will stay again when in the area

Lovely room, clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Excellent facilities for making a drink. Very tasty evening meal and very impressed with the chef who came to ask if we had enjoyed the food.

The radiator in the bathroom was permanently on which made the bathroom very warm, which was fine but it created a slightly unpleasant smell (possibly the rubber bathmat). After the excellent evening meal the breakfast was a little disappointing.

Lovely and perfect for what we wanted to stay local to friends. Beer garden is fabulous for the sun and lovely and quiet to stay.

Room could have been a bit cleaner and smelt a bit soggy on arrival. Mugs weren’t clean in room and outside of toilet was a bit grubby.

Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good breakfast for the cost.

As it was so hot & only a small window, a fan would have been good. Blackout blinds would have been useful.

Beautiful setting, amazing garden with lots of parasols which was a welcome relief as it was a very hot day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didnt eat there but good choice of drinks at the bar. Lovely fluffy big white towels in the bathroom and bedding lovely and clean.

No plug by the bedside, my partner uses a c-pap machine. We had to trail the lead across the bathroom doorway. I wish I had asked about the availabilty of a fan as there was no air conditioning but this is my fault for not checking or asking! Slightly further than I thought away from the town centre and return taxi was £34.00. Again my fault not the hotel but handy to know. Bar was closed when we got home from a concert which was a shame but it was around midnight. The bathroom radiator was on and the weather was very hot. No way to turn it off and no staff around to ask when we noticed it.

Location was good,close to afew eateries,breakfast was good the staff were very welcoming and considerate.

We had a ground floor room,with a room above,the noise of anyone walking above made every floor board creak and groan,not peaceful when trying to sleep.the room was poorly cleaned,black hair could be found all over,and the bedside cabinet was complete with dust,i lay a pair of black socks and when i went to pick them up they were white with dust.

Good location

Very very noisy. You can hear everything kids screaming outside. Every single movement upstairs. Not the calm peaceful stay we had hoped

Location ideal as there was 7 of us on motorbikes.

Nothing really, bed squeeked a bit that's all.
