Fantastic staff.Great food. Perfect location for us.

Baking hot room, radiator in the bathroom couldn't turn off & there was only 1 small window to open. Sewer smell in bathroom room 8.

Very nice hotel with loads of character. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Food is served in the restaurant and I have eaten in loads of places but I have to say the food was amazing, hard to find a restaurant with better food and everyone was so friendly

The door catch was very hard to close and you have to slam it to close it number 10 also the shower hose needs cleaning

Nice courtyard style accommodation in beautiful location. Spacious rooms tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed & tea & coffee in room. Didn't use the bar or restaurant but it looked very nice.

Noise. There was a big party on the friday night we stayed, so the quiet night we hoped for was ruined, by drunk people shouting till late. We were told in the morning that it was the managers birthday. Also the soundproofing in the rooms didn't exist. The water running & flushing from adjacent rooms was very loud. Shame as such a lovely place..I think we were just unlucky with the night we chose. Previous reviews said it was quiet & peaceful 😆

This is the second stay in 6 weeks the place is very cosy home from home with villagers using the bar great atmosphere made very welcome

Lack of WiFi in room. The system and local 'boosters' were reset; but to little effect.

Breakfast was nice but no continental or croissants

Dinner was very poor, ordered the steak which was that salty it was in edible had to leave it, did complain and knocked off a couple of quid, also ordered the the pie which they didnt have but explained they had one from the butchers which i ordered, pie i wouldnt have paid more than £2 for in a pasty shop, no filling hardly and pastry rock hard. Ordered a desert and waited an age for it when it arrived they give us a little extra ice cream for the long wait!
