The welcome and staff are fantastic, as with all old properties in a rural location it has character

There were a lot of noises in the morning given there are only 2 rooms next to each other a quiet room is not really an options . The repeated noises are like to be the plumbing (this did not really effect the stay adversely) The shower is to be avoided, go for the bath (shower old style mixer tap that kept switching from scalding hot to ice cold)

Good size room and clean.Dinner in the bar was tasty and freshly made. Staff friendly.

it would have been nice to have breakfast offered at the property. local cafe did not open until 9am for breakfast. Unexpected Karaoke, noisy till late at night. I was notified on the day by a message from the proprieter via booking.com however I was out and about and did not see it. I could have cancelled but choose not to, and in the end it was a good evenings entertainment unexpectedly.

Lovely place to stay, we were a little late checking in but the owner greeted us very well and got us settled in. Very large bed, lovely size room and bathroom. Excellent location. Would definitely come back and stay again, and maybe have a meal in the pub.

There was a pump in the bathroom which was quite loud, but only when you used water. Not a major problem. Nothing else to fault, everything else was perfect!

"Nice pub, nice hosts, big comfy bed."

The pub is great, has atmosphere, good food, a Darr board if that’s your thing and the owners were really nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was really big.

Lovely pub with great food. The bed was very comfortable with a nice tray of tea & coffee. I had a lovely hot bath in the evening. It was a super cosy room and we will definitely be back to stay again.

The emergency exit light was quite bright in the room.
