Killenard Kottage, Killenard, Laois

Beautiful and quiet location. Cosy apartment, stylishly decorated with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed, we got a great night sleep. Host even gave us a lift to the The Heritage Hotel where we were attending a wedding. Highly recommend The Killenard Kottage for a relaxing stay.

The location was good. The property was good value for money. There were pastries, milk, tea & coffee, which was lovely.

There was a strong smell of kerosene in the cottage. The tank was on the exterior wall of the property. Am not sure if there had been a leak or if it was the location, but the smell was off putting.

Very cold and felt damp Dirty cups and glasses in dishwasher. No clean cups Bathroom and bedroom very cramped.

It was a lovely homely place, very comfortable all you needed at a very reasonable priced.

It was a bit to far from the hotel that we were going to as my Husband has walking difficults and I in high heels

Bed mattress was very small and worn out, bed was squeaking with slight move. Shower head was broken and tapped and there was barely any water coming out. Windows need better insulation as we could hear traffic passing early in the morning. Overall the place was clean.

Close proximity to Heritage Hotel. Some nibbles, bread and milk there for us on arrival.

The property had a horrible damp smell that was overwhelming, and to make matters worse, the bed sheets were damp as well. This is completely unacceptable and made for an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are properly addressed

The shower and a few parts of the kitchen needed some attention.
