Killenard Kottage, Killenard, Laois

We choose the location for access to Dublin airport but there is lots to do around the area - especially in Tullamore. The host left an extensive food package that was totally unexpected and really useful.

The apartment is just a little bit too small, movement around the bed is tight and the kitchen is crowded.

Really well-kept and appointed accommodation, grand bathroom, beautiful sittingroom with kitchenette, and host had kindly supplied pastries, bread and milk.

Bed was squeaky.

Omg absolutely beautiful would recommend to anyone, peaceful beautiful,the scenery, the kottage was fully enjoyable. Everything needed at hand, the bed was very comfortable and I had a lovely peaceful sleep, the veiw was amazing. Lovely host, very kindly picked me up from the local trainstion and took me where I needed to be, I'm so very grateful for all your help in helping me to finally visit my son. You went out of your way to help me and I am very grateful, thanku so much I can't thank u enough.

Host was away on vacation abroad, as we were told via message before arriving. When we arrived, the property was left unattended, uncleaned and dirty with food waste and empty wine bottles and beer cans on patio and garden. The door to the cottage was also left open and place was untidy. A drunk man was at the property, not sure if he was the owner of the place or a burglar. The entire situation was horrifying and shocking. We ran to the car and left. We tried to reach the owner multiple times but no answer and straight to voicemail….only after almost 2 hours after being stuck in the car. It was a bank holiday weekend, so we could not find anything else. Stay away from this accommodation!

Great little cottage had everything we needed and bonus with Netflix. The owner Martin was very welcoming and would recommend to anyone. Close to Rosslare ferry port.
