Nice decor. Well furnished

Some of the doorways were too low for tall people. We had to be very careful! Driveway was a little hard to navigate.

"Disappointing"

Modern bathroom with powerful shower, just in the wrong part of the house. Having to walk through the lounge, kitchen then hallway to use the bathroom during the night is not ideal.

Kitchen facilities not clean. none of the curtains closed . blinds didnt fully fit windows in the main bedroom . Stayed during the summer so awake at 4.30am . Very close to the main road so extremely noisy. The garden was very untidy . Furniture not comfy. Have stayed in numerous properties in Broughty Ferry and would not recommend the Gate lodge

Facilities are great and very clean!

Single glazing made it very noisy and difficult to sleep if you're a light sleeper as the house is on a busy road.

"Nice well equipped, clean property in a good location."

Property had everything we needed for our stay. A nice outlook and a private area to the side and rear (although we didn’t use them). It was clean and comfortable. Great location for exploring.

One of the bedroom blinds had fallen off and was lying on the floor which could have been replaced prior to our stay. Property situated on a busy road so there is a little noise during the night from traffic but still a lovely little property that I would recommend to others.

All mod cons, beautifully decorated, clean, cosy and welcoming. Obviously a historical building- interested to know more about it. Comfy bed- unusual! Sky Q very good as it made TV viewing as easy as at home.

Arrived at night. No lighting on drive or around rear of property. Narrow entrance into back yard make it very difficult to navigate through. Concerned about lack of fence around driveway, next to 3ft drop to property! Nespresso coffee not the best, but no alternative, eg Cafetière. Some people might find the incessant traffic noise difficult.

"In the summer this would be the perfect place to stay."

The gate house was very comfortable and just a short walk from Broughty Ferry and accesibility to the costal pathways

Main road out side was noisy when sleeping
